The Institute of Financial Services (ifs) Malta recently hosted the MiCreS project meeting in Valletta, bringing together key partners and stakeholders from across Europe for a highly productive and engaging in-person session.
IFS Malta will be offering the highly anticipated Award in Environmental Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) course in partnership with the University of Malta. The course is scheduled to take place from February 2026 to May 2026.
IFS Malta participated actively in the most recent MiCreS Project meeting, held in Dublin and hosted by the Institute of Banking (IOB), Ireland. This key event marked another important milestone in the development of Europe’s first sector-driven, blockchain-based ecosystem for micro-credentials in the banking and financial services sector.

In his address to over 150 graduates and guests at the Annual Graduation Ceremony, President of ifs Malta, Peter Calleya, stated that as the dynamic financial services sector continues to evolve and demand skilled and forward-looking professionals, it is important to remain at the forefront of financial education.

On 13th March 2025, Mr Peter Calleya, Mr Mark Agius and Mr Joseph Agius of IFS Malta participated at the Micres project meeting held in Milan, Italy.
ifs Malta will be launching tuition classes for the Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA) course. The course is scheduled to commence in March 2025
