The Institute of Financial Services (ifs Malta) organised its highly anticipated Annual Dinner recently at the Corinthia Palace Hotel in Attard. The well-established event in the calendar of the financial services sector turned out to be a very successful gathering of key stakeholders from the financial and business community together with those from academia and constituted bodies.

The Institute of Financial Services Malta recently held its Annual Seminar entitled: The ESG Journey: a Pulse Check for the Maltese Economy, which continued on the theme from the seminar of last year. The event took place at the Hilton Hotel in St Julians.

IFS Malta Vice President, Mr Peter Calleya, has been re-elected to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Brussels-based European Banking and Financial Services Training Association (EBTN) for the period 2023-2025. This was confirmed at the EBTN Annual General Meeting which took place in Larnaca, Cyprus.

It has been 60 years since a small group of Bankers, led by Louis E. Galea, set up a local Banking School – an institution set up by bankers for bankers.
