DORA and Sustainability

Took place on Friday, 28th June 2024
8:30am - 1:00pm
MFSA Conference Hall
Fee: €90

This workshop promises to be an insightful event, offering valuable discussions on the imminent implementation of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and its upcoming Amending Directive, set to come into effect on 17 January 2025. Additionally, we’ll provide a comprehensive overview of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations within the framework of sustainable finance devised by the European Commission.

Why Attend:

As of 17 January 2025, financial entities must proactively assess and implement concrete measures to ensure alignment with DORA and its Amending Directive. Consequently, failure to comply poses regulatory risks and exposes entities to unprecedented ICT challenges and vulnerabilities. Therefore, join us to gain insights into bolstering digital defences and navigating regulatory changes seamlessly.

Our workshop will also offer a practical overview of ESG considerations, including the applicability of regulations like the Taxonomy Regulation, Sustainable Finance Disclosures Regulation, and more. We shall delve into topics such as the Corporate Sustainability Directive (CSRD) and Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), providing valuable insights for navigating the evolving sustainability landscape.
